| I don speak up much but I think as a team we should stay off the DFL message boards. All year long, I always thought that the fact that we didn get caught up in that set us apart. I feel like as a team we were different because we didn need to posture or talk about how good we were, we just showed it. We know our craft, we know our skills, why do we need to talk about it? Im a history teacher, and back in ancient Greece, the most intimidating thing about the Spartan army (as seen in 300) was that they were quiet before the battle. They were professionals. Most other armies like Athens or Thebes would yell loudly, bang their spears against their shields, and otherwise make noise to not only intimidate their opponent, but to bolster their own courage. The Spartans stood silently because they had confidence in what they could do together, and really they were one of the only armies of the ancient Greek world that was an integrated unit, as opposed to a bunch of guys slapped together with few assets except courage. Ive always seen us as like the Spartans - quiet in the ranks, and then we steamroll over the enemy. No need to make any noise, we just do what we do. Anyway, just a suggestion from a teammate. |

| I trust everyone received their rings, they are fantastic, Iraq, if you could put a pic of the ring on here that would be great. I hope all of you are working hard in the off season, we do plan on staying where we are. That being said in our commitment to excellance, (thanks to Al Davis and the Raiders for that slogan), We are very excited to announce a few things about the Generals which will assist us in our continued growth, 1: We are establishing a youth team which will be over seen by Coach Andre, he was hand selected by Marlon, we currently have players in the waiting and we are sure these Generals will be just as successful, 2. we have changed our name to the South Jersey Generals, this will assist us in securing fields and in fund raising. 3. We wish to welcome corporate ownership to the Generals Organization, most of you know him all ready, I am not sure if he wants his name posted on here a of yet, this is a very exciting time to be a General we are growing and we will strive to be the absolute best at everything we do, we will do all we can to make sure that you get whatever it is you are looking for, be it exposure to the next level, experiance for moving on in your game in College, to get in shape, relive your youth or just enjoyment of the battle of the grid iron. Announcements for try-outs will be coming very shortly, any questions please do not hesitate to call me (856 364 5899) or Pop (856 881 6829) see yall soon enough and remember GO BIG BLUE!!!!! |

| Well, here we stand about to embark on another journey, I am hopeful that this one will be better than the others, ending with another trip to the show and an even bigger trip to follow. I have all the confidence in the world in our coaching staff as well as our veteran players and I fully expect the first year guys to have huge impacts. This year will be allot tougher than those gone by, we have always competed in what I thought was the toughest division in the DFL, gone are the likes of the Pitbulls and the Mastodons, replaced by the Raiders and the Saints. Expectations are higher than ever, make no mistake we are the hunted. We must face each opponent with the same intensity, don be the guy that loses his focus, play every down like it is your last, like there is no tomorrow, like there would be no consequences. Be dangerous, play with malice in your hearts and hate running through you veins. IT IS OUR TIME! |

| Gentlemen:
I want to wish you all best of luck at the Jam, unfortunately I will be unable to attend, (work schedule), this is a great and fun day for all involved, you get to meet all the other teams in the DFL, and put your talents out for all to see. The most important thing to many is for ALL of you to come home healthy. You are being led into battle by the best coaching staff in the league BAR NONE, have faith in them and follow their lead and you will do fine. Vets help the rooks, kick some a** and once again come home healthy. GO BIG BLUE!! |

| If anyone is interested in a good paying fantasy football league. this will be the second year we run the league. it was a lot of fun. Buck, joey and sulley were in the league last year. If we get 16 people the pay out will be $2000 for first. $1000 for second and $200 for third. The draft will be either the second or third week of the NFL preseason. and it is run on espn. So there is no cheating. If interested call me at (856)524-1679 or email me at marcfanelle@comcast.net. Marc |
